Buddying Up To My Janome
Remember Homer Simpson's service monkey? The one who became a drug-addicted alcoholic not long after being assigned to Homer? Well, I won him in an Ebay auction and taught him to do the Garnet stitch with the Big J. See how nice and he works for bananas!
Actually, the monkey is typing this at my behest because I am paralyzed in the neck, shoulders, arms, hands and fingers from tackling my first extensive free-motion quilting project with my Janome 6500 that has languished in my studio for nearly a year. Could someone say "relax and remember to breathe?"
And all this on another quilt that's bigger than 40 inches on a side.
