getting on with the work

Not taking any time to clean or organize my workspace will probably come back to bite me on the butt. The new table gives me lots of clear space to work and ignore the piles of stuff heaped all around the edges of the room. One of things I did uncover was this piece that I started back in the beginning of the summer. I had bought several yards of canvas with the intention of doing some floor cloths. Instead, I washed the sizing out of it and dyed several pieces. This was hanging on the design wall under three other large works in progress. I guess by timing and substance this would be the Mother of all the Rothko Puppies - "Blood Orange and Lime Martini"
