"the Lawrenceville Dyeworks"

On one of the finest mornings weatherwise that we have had in months, Jan Thompson's kitchen once again became the Lawrenceville Dyeworks. This time, Jan did dye painting with gutta resist and I mopped up the messes with cheesecloth which takes the dye incredibly. My overdyes didn't turn out as dark and murky as I wanted them to but the new stuff did just fine...
